Bio
Before moving to Canada to pursue songwriting, Nancy Nipah faithfully served in her church choir in Ghana. That season became a foundational experience -- one that awakened her deep calling to worship ministry.
Nancy's sound is a fusion of piano-led worship, cinematic melodies, and honest, reflective lyrics --
music that meets both heart and Spirit. With every lyric and melody, she seeks to create space for transformation, healing, and deeper intimacy with God.
Her sound draws inspiration from both Scripture and personal faith experiences, resulting in songs
that feel like prayers -- raw, intimate, and Spirit-filled. Nancy's musical identity is shaped by a unique blend of global worship voices and Ghanaian gospel legends. Think Kim Walker-Smith, Kari Jobe, and CeCe Winans infused with the spiritual depth of the Togo Sisters, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, and Cindy Thompson -- bold, authentic creatives whose legacy informs her worship.
That mission lies at the heart of her debut EP, Your Presence -- a five-track collection exploring
themes of trust, redemption, surrender, and spiritual hunger. Produced by Mark Troyer (known for his work with Juno Award-winner Brian Doerksen), the project offers both personal devotionals and congregational anthems designed to draw listeners into the presence of God.
Despite seasons of doubt, silence, and uncertainty, Nancy has always returned to her calling.
"I may never be able to repay God for His love," she says, "but I can use my voice to glorify Him."
For Nancy, music isn't just an art form -- it's her offering, her ministry, and her way of sharing God's
love with the world.
Philosophy of Ministry
As a worship leader and songwriter, I believe worship is more than music — it’s a response to the presence of God. My ministry is rooted in intimacy with Jesus, the truth of Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit. I am called to create sacred spaces through music where people can encounter God, be transformed, and walk in deeper freedom and love.
I believe in leading with authenticity, vulnerability, and excellence — not to perform, but to point hearts to Jesus. Whether in a small room or on a large stage, my desire is always the same: that every song would lead people to surrender, healing, and intimacy with God.
One passage that anchors my ministry is Romans 8:31–39, which reminds us that “if God is for us, who can be against us?” and that “nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” That unshakable love is the message I long to carry in every lyric, every melody, and every moment of worship.
